The Jamaica Moves mobile health (mHealth) application has been developed under the HSSP, with support from the European Union, is ready for launch. ​

The app, which is now available for download on both Android and iOS devices, allows users to track their daily steps, blood pressure, blood glucose (sugar) levels, and weight. This helps them to better share their progress with their healthcare providers. ​

The app also provides support in the form of feedback on health readings and targeted reminders, as well as quick tips and a library of articles on different aspects of health and wellness.

The Jamaica Moves App was developed by SlashRoots, a social impact organisation that uses the principles and practices of the digital age to create a more equitable, inclusive, and sustainable Caribbean society.
